Niagara Falls
The word Niagara appears on maps as early as 1641. The word Niagara interpreted as the "The Strait" or "Great Throat". The Niagara Water Falls located at the Niagara river which connecting two large bodies of water. It is 58 kilometers (36 miles) and it starts at Lake Erie flowing north to Lake Ontario. Water entering the Niagara river represents approximately 20% of the world's fresh water. The Niagara river divides two great countries Canada & USA. Just before the falls sites, the Niagara river splits to two and forms 2 water falls. The American Falls & the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. In our day tour we will not cross the border to the USA, the Canadian side of the border provides a great view of both water falls.
